I’m upping the ante…

Wow! 39 responses already – very cool! But I’d like to see more.

So to give you guys a little “bribe” for contributing – here’s what I’m going to do. We just got a shipment of limited edition (limited to the number I bought) of Internet Lifestyle hats. These are not el-cheapo caps but really nice embroidered ones.

They look great on any guy, gal or furry creature…

elmo InternetLifestyle_cap

I’m going to give away 3 caps to the commenter who posts the best, most exciting version of their own Internet Lifestyle (achieved or yet to be achieved). The previous posters are in the running too.

Have a great weekend! I’m excited because I just got the new Harry Potter book delivered from Amazon. (I think that’s pretty funny about them adding warnings for Muggles on the front.)

harry_potter_arrival

Yes, I’m a Harry Potter fan! I’ve read every single one and can’t wait to see what happens with Harry and “He-who-must-not-be-named” (otherwise known as Jim Edwards). Okay off to Hogwarts – catch you guys soon!

    Hey Yannik,

I’d love that hat! If I had a lifestyle to choose, it would have to be either like Frank Kern’s or Chris Carpenter’s on the beach somewhere, probably in
La Jolla if I could generate enough income to afford that kind of lifestyle. Of course it would be with my three youngest kids, 14 – 11 and 10. But hey it’s nice to even dream about it. That’s what keeps me pluggin at this thing.

Have a nice one and say Hello to the family.

  2. Nick The Geek Says:

    Hey Dude

Thanks to your advice, I’m already living the lifestyle.

It may not be a “4 hour a week” lifestyle like Tim, but hey, working 4 hours a day ain’t too shabby either.

I was out last night at 11pm taking my youngest to our local bookshop for a “Potter Party” with wizards and food and hot chocolate so she could get her hands on the “Deathly Hallows” as soon as it was released.

AND THEN I had to continue the tradition and start reading it to her before she finally conked out at 1am … Man, I was SHATTERED this morning – but I LOVED it!!

    Yanik:

I absolutely love “limited edition” redefined! Caps are not my thing, but I know that whoever receives them will love them!

And yes, we each need to think “larger than life”, so that we do not limit any part of our life!

    Blessings,
Bonnie (Who loves it when a plan comes together, and also loves Harry Potter!)

  4. Geo Says:

Yanik, I’m so glad to see that you got a blog together now. I follow you a lot. I’ve had the luxury of meeting Ryan Lee who I personally feel is the Yanik Silver of the Fitness Marketing Industry.

With the combination of the both of you I am able to do what I want to do although financially I am not quite there yet. Just the other day I was able to take my girlfriend and her family to the airport when I know if I was working the conventional 9 to 5 that would not be an option.

Not to mention that I was able to go on vacation a week earlier on my terms and not when the so called boss says so because I am my own boss. This is what the internet lifestyle is all about.

Honestly I just can’t wait to build an online empire like you’ve done with surefiremarketing. You are truly an inspiration to us all in the internet marketing world.

I want to be able to watch my kids go off to school, be around for their events, to see my first child say dada, THIS is what I consider the ultimate dream.

Thanks for being who you are cause honestly it gives me hope that it’s possible.

  5. Arthur Rego Says:

    Hi Yanik,

Your new site is motivational as I am in the “yet to be
achieved” group. However one of my goals that I set in the
beginning of this year was financial freedom and financial
independance and your are right on the mark with your new website.

Yanik you have the fruit from the tree called “success”

The lifestyle that I want for myself includes
leaving my family with a financial and spiritual legacy.

Once this lifestyle is achieved(and it will) we want to be able
to help others achieve their dreams and goals.

The road to financial freedom starts with the proper mind-set
and then the rest is desire, determination and staying the course until you succeed.

I would like to wish you and your family continued success

    Regards

    Arthur(Bermuda)

  6. Bill Says:

The problem isn’t wanting the internet lifestyle, it’s having it.
I wish it was as easy as everyone says.

  7. David Rachford Says:

Before: Least Exciting Profession – Public Accounting, bookkeeping & tax preparation – Ugh!

After: July 2007, Just entered Escrow on the sale of my Accounting firm.

Over the past 2 years, I took my initial investment in Cory Rudl’s Internet Marketing Center course, and build a little website; watch out for the name… crazy creativity here: http://www.cpamarketingcenter.com

My first product was a client newsletter for CPAs and Accountants to send to their clients. I figured, If I was going to go through the effort to create it, I might as well sell it to other Accountants.

Then I hired a stay-at-home mom to write the newsletter. Less work, better consistency, no typos, and More subscribers.

One day at the office, My telephone was ringing off the hook and driving me crazy. I read Dan Kennedy’s No BS Time Management, and came up with a great headline: “Kick Ass Tax Season Time Management for CPAs and Accountants – (are you tired of being the phone’s bitch?)”

I sold out the tele-seminar and had my first $2000 day on-line.

Then I launched an Inner Circle for Marketing Accountants. Still in it’s infancy, but it became big enough to sell the accounting practice.

Yanik, Your readers out there need to know that it all starts somewhere. Usually with a decision to make a go of it.

For me, it was seeing my friend Mike who was dying of brain cancer.

I asked him how he was doing, and he said “Great, how are you doing?”

    I said “fine”

Curious, I had to find out what made things so great for him – So I asked:
“So mike, what’ are you doing these days?”

He said” well, the cancer is rough on the family, and me. But I feel like I’ve found Heaven on Earth – cause I’m living my dreams…we’re going to Tuscany, and screw the doctors…by the way, don’t tell my wife you saw me around here, I’m not supposed to be driving, but I still have my license.”

We chatted a bit longer, but his words affected me.

Later that night, I couldn’t sleep. His words were a gift. Mike found Heaven on Earth by living his dreams. I thought to myself:

“Well, Dave, what’s it going to take to get you to live your dream?- Is it going to take cancer to kick you off your complacent ass? and if not, What does that dream look like?”

I began writing the “Millionaire Manifesto” – and yes, the domain was available. Good sign. So I reserved it. I got busy on the CPA Marketing Center website & Blog. I use it as my “marketing lab”

And I started calling people to interview for my DVD series. So far, I’ve worked with Matt Furey, Ted Nicholas, Steve Chandler, and very soon, Joe Vitale, and many many, more. You’re a perfect fit for this series too (let me know how to get a proposal package to you)

The best part about this for me – Is my dream is enriching other peoples lives, and creating a valuable product that can benefit people for a long time to come.

Oh yeah, when it comes together, it can really come together fast…I decided to launch the DVD series at the Glazer-Kennedy November 2006 Info-summit-

I’m happy to say, that no, it didn’t take cancer to kick me off my complacent butt… What it did take was walking around, feeling the energy, and talking to people like you, Joe Polish, Marvin Irwin, Scott Tucker, and many others. Those brief conversations in the halls or during breaks made it real for me, and now it’s really happening for me too.

I have total confidence that we’ll do over $100,000 during our first month – our official launch is Aug 3, and I’ve already got sale of $11k (pre-launch!)
    http://www.millionairemanifesto.com

This is due to a complete change in mindset. And our featured guests on our DVD interviews stand to make big $$$ with our JV arrangements.

As for an “Exciting Lifestyle” – I don’t know if this former “bean counter” can qualify – but today, like any day, I hop on the Ducati Superbike, and go for a ride into the twisty mountain roads around Santa Barbara Ca.

I’m a big fan of exotic cars too: but I’m going to partner with another car-freak friend and create a fractional ownership / club for Exotics, so we can have a stable of them. If we make it a business, we make it deductible. Opportunity is everywhere. Opportunity is Life’s Gold. Take it or leave it.

Best of all, the Internet Lifestyle means time for important relationships. I’m finding more time to use that graphite G Loomis fly fishing rod, going on outings with my best friends and my Dad, catching the elusive California Golden Trout.

All that, and living pretty close to the Beach in Santa Barbara, CA makes me feel pretty confident about my decision to drop the accounting practice, and I won’t gripe at paying another CPA to do my taxes for me anymore.

    Best,
    David

  8. Diane Dutton Says:

    Well,

The real Internet Lifestyle comes when I can have the beach at Laguna outside my door to listen to while a write. I’ve got at least three more books to complete that are in my head!

Laguna offers surf, small streets with great art shops, wonderful little coffee shop that makes tasty pumkin muffins and looks like something out of the 60s.

Breath in the warm sea air which gives you the freedom to think clearly. Lucky for me my children are grown and my husband and I can enjoy what we want, when we want from wherever we want – all from an internet lifesytle.

When not at the beach, there is always wine country; in Napa with rolling hills of vines and the Coppala winery where you can picnic with a bottle of Merlot and some bread and cheese, just like in Italy. I could go on for hours but, wow, that’s another book!

  9. Jawed Says:

What would my Internet lifestyle (yet to be achieved) be??

    well….

    A paid off house…
Money to pay for my university education…
And money to buy my mother everything that she ever wanted but could not afford.

I know it really does’nt sound much like a “lifestyle”, but that’s really my main target with an internet income, which is yet to really materialize!

  10. Mari Smith Says:

Cool incentive – thanks, Yanik! (BTW, I’m on the Alpha team for Gary Gil’s Podclass.com and enjoyed hearing you on the call last week).

My hubby and I are smack in the midst of creating the Internet Lifestyle right now — we sold our beach home in sunny San Diego (after 14 months on the market I might add!!)…

At first, we planned to rent a condo for a while… BUT, instead we’re acting upon a dream we’ve been toying with for a while. (We’ve been greatly influenced by Tim Ferriss, of course, and as he says – There is no perfect time… right now is as good as any!!)

Sooooo… we also sold ALL our furniture (in less than 48 hours thanks to Craigslist), gave away two truckloads of stuff to the Salvation Army (where the heck does all this crap come from??!!), put the rest in the attic of one of our investment properties, and we bought a 34′ motorhome to travel around the US/Canada for as long as we enjoy the mobile lifestyle!! Maybe six months, maybe 18… who knows! :)

It’s been awesome to get off every frickin’ snail mail list – we have a PO box, but have gone totally paperless. Online is the name of the game. Thanks to Verizon EVDO and Skype we have mobile connection pretty much anywhere.

For income – we have e-products, online classes, multiple websites and tons of affiliate partners such as Harv Eker, Ali Brown, PAX Programs to name a few… plus real estate.

Woooo-hoooo!! I’m so excited. I’m documenting our experience so far and will be keeping a travelogue with pics and video vignettes… and I plan to create more information products to teach other couples how to take a sabbatical, mini-retirement or just go fulltime mobile.

Three cheers for the Internet Lifestyle!!

    Enthusiastically,
    Mari Smith

  11. shane Says:

Holy crap Yanik its about freaking time you got a blog.!!!
My internet lifestyle allows me to live the life I want when I want to. Not a life with the vultutre of time and money constantly hovering over me. Cawing visciously. Hahahahaha sounds bleak huh, well thats what it was like just 2 yrs ago. Before I bought 33 days to online profits. 2yrs ago my goal was to get a part time job to help pay for, oh…. you know LIFE. Bills mortgage, kids activities and the likes. Then I got online and instead of getting a part time job my goal became get a part time business (sick of trading time for money). Then it became make this website I had pay me a thousand /month. Simple small goal. Then when I reached that goal i fell off of my chair, then it became have 20 websites make me a thousand/month each. (not there yet-but know it is possible). Yes I still work at my “job” if you want to call it that. I work for the family business. We build custom homes. But know what I dont have the pressures associated with doing the thing I like doing, building homes.
In the past two years I have replaced my income from the family business. The way I approach my work a day life now is as a hobby, the way it should have always been sans the stress of bills and all that mumbo jumbo.
My internet lifestyle has more or less given me back my life. I’ve always been a blue collar sort of person. Getting dirty for money :-P . its just now I dont stress about it. I’m happier my family is happier. And now im working at getting my mom online and into a business , as well as a few friends.
My friends and family scoffed when I started out, which made me want it all the more badly. Id always be asked how is that scammy thing on the ineternet going. (hated that) Screw them … then after 6 months with my “scammy thing making me a few hunderd a month. theyre tuned changed to well you still have to work, good luck with that. (in a snide sort of way) which pushed me harder.
(lesson here if you cant find any other motivation ANGER WORKS WELL) then when I showed them my first goal accomplished and the mortgage (biggest source of stress in our relationship at the time) getting paid off of the internet a few of them stood up and asked me how did I do it ( like it happened over night or something) Believe me when I tell you I spent more than a few nights not sleeping (Honestly) –
Lesson two – you better have a burning desire to succeed and be willing to give up short term pleasures, like sleep :-P . It pays off. I had to do it this way because at first I couldnt aford time off of work, and what time I did have was between 9 pm and 11 pm. My kid is more important so I soent it with him and my spouse of course. So two hours a night was what I had to work with and it wasnt enough – vulture circling all the while. But the fire in my head forced me to keep going , that and having a 2 hr tim hortons coffee shop a 2 min drive away. Not going out with friends on weekends -busy writing articles. Lesson 3 focus. You have to stay the course and remain focused on the goal. Man theres lots of distractions, good thing for the 33 days to online profits course. Its my operations manual. Thank god I learned how to follow instructions from my job and stay on track as well. Alot of thanks to my father for raising me with blue collar values. Alot of what I have now wouldnt have been possible with out his understanding and great fathering through the years. Lots of good life lessons that got translated into webpreneurship. And what I also like about 33 days to online profits Good solid real advice. Ok to sum it all up.
My internet lifestyle allows me the freedom to do what I like to do when I like to do it, If I want time off I can afford it. If my kid needs a new bike I can afford it. If my kid want to play hockey (expensive every year sheesh) I can afford it. It sounds like it all about money and sadly to some extent it is but more than that its about “freedom from”
I have the freedom from financial worries.
I have freedom from the time clock.
I have freedom from fighting about money.
I have freedom from laying awake at night worrying.
I just have freedom now i guess to put it bluntly.
I’m not making millions I’m making more than what I need to survive. And that wasn’t even the real goal.
Lesson 4 ( i was taught this by my dad and saw it in 33 days to online profits) which is why I didnt refund it, like I have quite a few other of the “guru glam packages”
The real goal was provide high quality information and products that solved real problems. I did that and let the money take care of itself. I didnt focus on “making money” Im canadian I have a different mindset I guess :-P
Anyhoo glad you have a blog yanik FINALLY, sorry I have rambled on so long. Its saturday and my kid is at camp and my spouse is at a spa so Im in a rambling mood….
P.s I may hit you up for a JV. (day 19)
See you at the top !!
    Cheers and beers from Canada
    Shane

This is kinda in response to Bill’s comment. Bill: Don’t give up. It isn’t necessarily easy. And it “ain’t” necessarily simple. But, it is is positively worth it in every way. There is nothing like being able to work from your own home…from a lap top in a Starbucks or your favorite coffee shop. There is nothing like being able to take a break whenever you feel like it…take a day trip just because…or whatever. It beat working for someone else. Just DO it as the old saying goes. Fire the J.O.B. (Jackass Of a Boss)…and be your own master. But, like I said, it isn’t necessarily easy or simple. It is something you affirm, you visualize, you empower, and you focus on…if it is truly what you want, you can have it…achieve it…receive it. Here’s a mantra for you: “If they can do it, I can do it”. And, most important, focus: “I am so happy and grateful now that I am clear about how to build my own, highly profitable, home based business.

    Good luck…have fun…stay positive.

Hey Yanik, first i want to say congrats on your new baby! My wife and I are expecting a baby girl this november and we can’t wait for her to arrive. Second i would like to thank you for putting up this website for everyone to talk about thier dreams. I currently do not have a online business but have been learning all i can for the last six or seven months. My wife and i are currently working on our first ebook together and can’t wait to get it out. We truly believe you have to take the first step towards achieving your goals and never give up,”Don’t stop for anything people”.
So here are my top 10 reasons why i want the internet lifestyle.

    1. To bring in enough income from my business so i can give back. I will one day walk into st. jude “the childrens cancer research center” with a donation of at least 500k. I know that i can one day achieve this.
    2. To know that my children will never have to struggle the way my family has in the past. That finances will never be a burden for them.
    3. To become financially free by the age of 30
    4. To give my wife everything she desires, because she is the most amazing woman i have ever met! She is my cheerleader
5.To own our dream home on the lake.
    6. To be able to share my knowledge with everyone willing to learn so they may have a better life.
    7. To become a mentor and a role model for troubled indivduals who want change in their life.
    8. To increase my net worth through more areas than just the internet, real estate, and offline businesses.
    9. To give my daughter the life any princess deserves.
    10. To just be able to relax, be free and live a positive life.

I want to say thanks again Yanik for this oppurtunity i am truly grateful to write in your blog. And to everyone else out there I would like to leave you with this quote as napoleon hill would say “There is nothing a man cannot do if his mind can conceive and believe it he can achieve it!”

    God Bless,

    Austin Hulsey

  14. Jayson Z Says:

To me Internet lifestyle is having the freedom to pursue the positive things my heart and mind desires. To be free to improve peoples lives by making it simple, more exciting and fun. It will allow me to focus more on the important things in life like family, and friends. It will give me more time to improve other peoples’ lives, by making products that save time and money, and a fun program that anyone can enjoy. The money would be nice, but to me it’s more important to help others. I would put all the money back to research and development. I wouldn’t mind not worrying about where I’m going to get the money to fund my next project or experiment, or where to get the money for food and rent.

  15. Tania Says:

Hi all, This is the very first time I have ever done this, quite fun isnt it.
Well my internet life style is just starting. I am putting everything into place as we speak, which means for me more time with family and friends, I have 5mth old twin girls and 11yr old and 21yr old, yes a big gap.
Setting evrything up does seem easier than it looks, I am getting a little confused with things, but thats ok I will truck along, as they say Rome wasnt built in a day.
I live in New Zealand, Queenstown, has anyone ever been here, have been to a few places in America, so all going well with my internet stuff I will beable to return real soon.
Ok have a happy day all,
    Cheers
    Tania

  16. Jaap Verduijn Says:

    Greetings all!

Most of us “beginners” in internet marketing do, by necessity, more taking than giving when it comes to blogs and publications. Just for a change I’ll try to give something back now: the following small article I recently wrote might make you smile, and possible even THINK!

    * * * * * * * *

Making money on the internet is an art. Some will thoughtfully maintain that it’s a science, but they’re largely wrong. But… what’s the difference? Easy: to succeed in science one needs lots of work and dedication, to succeed in art one needs dedication, lots of work, and a serious stroke of madness.

Yep. The “mad scientist” is the exception, the “mad artist” is the rule. And that’s exactly how the cosmos seems to like it: mad scientists soon disappear from history, while mad artists are honored, on and on and on, forever. The only painful truth is that they tend to die poor, while their offspring get richer every day (sad grin…)!

So… wouldn’t it after all be better to combine the artist and the scientist, when it comes to making money? Yes, it would. But there’s still one component lacking, because… in order to make good money working at home on the internet, one needs to be three things: a scientist, an artist and… a lazybones! The latter is often overlooked, which not only leads to disappointment, but also contributes to 95% of all aspiring internet entrepreneurs failing miserably.

“Now what’s that?” one might surprisedly ask, “Isn’t building an internet business hard work and endless toil then?” Sure, it is. Absolutely. You don’t even know how much work and toil! But there’s one glaring difference with building a brick-and-mortar business: you need to do it sitting down!

I can’t emphasize this enough: to succesfully create an internet empire you need to be able to sit down behind your computer and keep sitting down, not only hours but often days on end. It’s not for the active types, the restless kind, the itchy folks, the “I can’t sit down for any prolonged time” guys ‘n gals. Those won’t make it.

So you’d better enjoy being planted on the wrinkled butt. Becoming an internet tycoon is not for the restless or the jumpers-abouters, which is exactly why 95 percent of all “tryers” fail. Will you? Yes, probably. The odds are desperately against you. Unless, like me, you are too lazy to fail.

But hey: I’ll help you on your way, firmly seated on the backside! One of the first things I strongly advise the beginning internet entrepreneur, is to only pick sales or marketing programs with one or more actual products. Amazingly enough, many “Money Making Marketing Monsters” turn out to sell absolutely nothing, except… themselves! And that comes frighteningly close to “pyramid schemes”. Mind: there are exceptions to this rule… but they’re relatively few, and especially if you want to build a reputation as an honest marketer, you should start out with a true product.

If I were you (which I ain’t, otherwise you’d be writing and I’d be reading – grin!), I’d subscribe to at least one free advertisement site where you can browse away happily among all kinds of (real or quasi) money making sites, learning to distinguish between those with a product and those with none. In the meantime you collect credits towards advertising your own site there, so you’ll be hitting several birds with one stone.

The latter statement, in fact, is one of the basics of succesful internet marketing: once you’ve learned to find your way inside this veritable maze, you should generate several different (potential) streams of income. Right in the beginning however, you should KISS (”Keep It Simple, Stupid!”). So the first step should be figuring out which program offers a true product, and proceed from there. Finding that out is part of the “science” element.

As for “art”: that comes in when deciding how to promote your stuff just a little different than everybody else. And last but not least your indispensable “lazybones” quality: sit down and keep sitting down, until the job is done. Hey, you might finish up among the 5 percent after all!

    * * * * * * * *

“Then what is Jaap Verduijn himself sitting down for?” you might ask. That’s http://www.the5percent.ws (a site which is brilliantly called “The 5 Percent” – grin)!

    Be well, al of you!

    Jaap Verduijn.

  17. Duke Says:

Hello Everyone . . . my first time and how exciting. Great stuff Yanik, and a real motivation for living the Internet Lifestyle. So much rolling around in my mind and wondering how to best begin.

Not having an online busniness at present but learning lots and lots, it’s a bit intimidating. Hearing the others share their stories of inspiration and success keeps the midnight oil burning and for my take on living the Internet Lifestyle, it goes like this:

    – Begin questioning my beliefs about everything to understand why we create the lives we live.
    – Create new beliefs to support the lifestyle I’ve, up to this point, only dreamed of.
    – Live in each moment with appreciation for the connections and experiences provided.
    – Provide awesome content and products that assist others in questioning their beliefs.
    – Take action on good intentions that in the past I’ve failed to follow through with.
    – Visit friends and family whenever the fancy strikes.
    – Travel to Costa Rica, Brazil, Europe, New Zealand and the far East.
    – And . . . forget the worries (created by my beliefs), replacing them with happiness and joy so that I (to quote, Ghandi) “Become the change I wish to see”.

    Listening, learning, laughing and loving,
    Duke

After about 4 years online I decided to make some money by building Adsense and affiliate sites. That became hard work because I was putting in 6 to 8 hours a night on top of my regular job as a lawnmower repair and salesman.

Then one day I was looking for an affiliate program to add to a “Currency Trading” content site that I had made. Long story short, I bought the program and learned to trade… and I never built another website after that.

Now 2½ years later I’m retired and working only a few hours a day. I now earn more money in a month than I was earning in 12 months 2½ years ago. Give me another 6 months and I’ll be earning the same money in a week… and in 12 months I expect to do it every day.

I thank God for the Internet.

I have been in Cayo Largo, Cuba for one week at Easter. It wasn’t the ideal Caribbean place, as I expected, but not too shabby either: sea like a swimming pool and pina coladas as much as you can drink.

Why am I saying that? Because I had the chance to check my control panel from there before leaving and I have seen that week in Cayo Largo brought about 1000 euros of Internet sales.

That’s what I call the Internet LifeStyle.

    P.S: A x10 figure would be nicer, but I am working on that… :-)

    Yanik,

    Love the site.

If you love Harry Potter then you’re going to love the theme park that is going to open in Orlando. http://www.universalorlando.com/harrypotter/

By the way , when are you going open up the merchandise shop so we can get a hold of a t-shirt or coffee mug with that cool logo…just a thought.

    Yanik,

I started my internet businesses about 45 days ago. You and Dan Kennedy have been a big help from concept to creation. Now I have to add Tim Ferris from “The 4 Hour Work Week” as my latest inspiration.

My first 2 sites coach mortgage professionals in marketing strategies and systems. I already have over 1000 members on my FREE newsletter and 154 paying members for my advanced service. My sites convert at over 8%!

If you get a chance, check them out at http://www.EasyMortgageMarketing.com and http://www.MortgageMarketingMagic.com. I “S&D’d” the landing page format from John Mizel.

My latest site, http://www.CreditScoringSecretsExposed.com, is a credit repair site. It’s only been open a week or so and I have over 100 FREE subscribers and 3 paying clients (I gave some away for free to get testimonials before I designed the site).

Using Tim’s principals I am completely automating everything. I check my emails 2x a day, until I get used to handing over control to my Virtual Assistant in India.

It’s great fun for me to see sales made and product delivered while I’m sleeping or bar-b-queing in the back yard. Soon, I’ll just be getting summarized reports from my VA in the mornings.

Thanks again for all your support and advice. The internet is the ONLY way to go to build a business and have a life.

    Best,
    Brian Diez

P.S. All my sites include affiliate programs. The SMALLEST fee affiliates earn selling my services is $98.50 (the biggest is $173.50). That’s probably the most important thing you taught me. Make sure your affiliates earn a substantial profit and success will follow.

I have a dream…having an Internet Lifestyle. I have been working towards this dream for a long time and I am ready to see some success (and income) come from this.
We have 3 boys and adopted 2 older kids from Russia several years ago. This was quite an adventure and put us into a lot of debt. Now with 5 kids and lots of expenses, I want to be able to help support our family with my internet businesses. I know I can do it and have been told I have the perfect niche…helping families going through international adoptions. However, I have NO support from family or friends and they all seem to be waiting for me to give up on this.
I am determined to show them all that this really can work and hope that soon I can be taking our family on a great vacation instead of worrying about how we will make our mortgage payment.
So…thanks for the on-going tips! I look forward to being the next ‘Internet Millionare’!!

    Hey Yanik,
How did your find the “Deathly Hollows”?

I’m sure there’s an Internet Marketing analogy in there somewhere….

It’d be interesting to see how the Hogwarts’ magic is very similar to our Internet Marketing magic….

Especially the “cash/gold on demand” aspect!

My ultimate internet lifestyle is being able to live life on my terms. To work with my wife everyday and be able to never be apart from her. To have children (coming soon) and be able to spend time with them unlike my dad who worked day and night most of my life. To be able to afford to take vacations and to help others. And most of all to leave behind a business my wife or children could keep running so they will be taken care of.

Hey Yanik. Great site. I’m living my ultimate Internet Lifestyle…right now. I’m living it with the expectancy that I am soon going to be make the money I *want* to make from the sites and products I’m developing.

So what is that life? I value freedom. Freedom to do what I want, when I want, to go where I want and spend time with interesting people in exotic and beautiful places.

Yanik – I live in an RV. I travel full-time. In the last 3 months I’ve been in Canada, U.S. and now Mexico. I visited the Canadian Rocky Mountains, the Grand Canyon, and the Pacific Coast of Mexico. If that isn’t living, I don’t know what is!

And, I ‘m using what I know (RV travel) as a way to ramp up an Internet business.

Love the new blog…and look forward to your next post on Secrets to Personal Success.

P.S. Send me the hat..it’s 100 degrees here even in the shade!

Years ago, someone stressed that: ‘content is king’. Years later, that got amended to: ‘unique content is king’!

There are TONS of websites that are all copy/paste. BORING!

Then there are other websites that have unique content but its all ‘point of view’. “I this, and I that’.

When you post a website, it is already assumed that its your point of view. No need to repeat it a hundred times and go OUT THERE.

Long copy is great when you actually say something worthwhile. On the other hand, long copy sucks when you have no clue where its leading you!

Internet lifestyle is what you make it. Boring??? Interesting??? Unique??? Worthwhile???

No one will ever take a look further if you don’t say something worthwhile! And say it well!!!

One of the best ways I know to make it worthwhile is to invest YOU. Sometimes it takes me one or two days of work to get one single webpage right. But when I do, I know its not only right, its right on it!

    Always the best,
    Carolyn
