The great thing about metal business cards is that they really stand out and are an instant talking point when you hand them out. The guys with the best variety of finishes and metals are Pure Metal Cards. We always buy ours from them at http://PureMetalCards.com

Hi
Very cool idea, I think in todays age its the element of difference that catches peoples eye now. The same old white background logo in the corner image that is overused just isn't appealing, so being different is very important.

Thanks

Yanik,

Cool cards, but you may have a little problem. WebMagic has a trademark incredibly similar to the hand you are using. Here is a link to their legal page. http://www.webmagic.com/legal.html. Sorry -- love the card though!

Not only that, but it's one of those unique ideas that's out there. It gets noticed, yes, but it also gets tossed, somewhere, because the "uniquity" wears off quickly.

Why?

#1. Nowhere to scribble notes or write any comments on card. Nearly all of my most valuable and longest-kept business cards have notes written on the back, because it's the notes that are most valuable. Every realtor knows this, explaining the prevalence of notepads given away by realtors.

#2. Fear of the metal affected other, important cards also in wallet, namely credit cards with magnetic strip. No amount of "stainless, dummy" can best paper, dummy, no matter how stupid or bright a person may be.

#3. No real utility, making it a brazen waste. For example, no square or circular cutouts (which would let it double as a eraser shield for artsy types and architects); no thin slits (which would be cool and useful for seeing light diffraction in action (I know, a stretch here, but definitely unique and of intellect); and no serrated edge...giving it some "cutting edge" would raise some good tongue-in-cheek humor and also lend some James-Bondy usefulness as a saw in a tight pinch.
